That's not great and is kind of missing the point of -next - the core idea is to find these inter-tree dependencies, ensure things work when they're merged together and avoid things like massive bisection breaks. Leaving things also causes problems for anyone trying to do integration testing on -next. What would be better would be if we could get the two trees synced up, in this case something like picking the audit change up in the ARMv8 tree (or vice versa) seems like it'd be quick and easy since it looks like neither tree uses topic branches. --Dx1O6sYEs5STvSrm Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" Content-Description: Digital signature -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2 iQIcBAEBAgAGBQJTx+KWAAoJELSic+t+oim9GRQP/jrMva/l6IUhDp7bCFRdCV7S sq8g4WklOWMol31CmZIvYL7GTJE9XiTmcJO1bfUBMkAi38X17PZpuOPD8J/WM0EZ P2oh8qcWTMot0uIV1KREYxBnmShfQL18D2WqV5ig3+Oat5I7XRPN9URQwim67Xad jBYsUqgmL5S++4PlYoJgeykV9AZPY16qLF0S7jCb9cSySOZrONTJYHybFqSgVj4Z H/g8+ru3lNL7t/ywy9otUUfqom/iV8+l5ubDi8VGjt2ZvTjfosjxJJG7aWlv5b0l a43qOS3pPKQDYq3KnGvJ5VMkGFVQH4ZnRjK88+6mvETtRhMARUUtGMeHzaR4pD2o sqfahF24gdbOFpwGV00+8BI3p2yf6vy3HCoFmlAd9j2qaf46YxcIho2UOvQppx1S uHkSdFXhelPxVs0Wm/c4JaoHrUgCHj47FgE8anIK0kDnrS5qdBR+FtnDjjKdYnht 7qP+fV9QxTuarOjsBMg8cWWCeTMEn8DV6bfLo0FToTBRHdSl8lZeVFb+TD3rHJSC NELIyICuacrVuyCkIIdwzhEVbUt1A0Oo9NBe9I+nta/vbio/qFEYn9eYojsRB8TT SBy7E4ZshnYvk16A+fUSqNhFsuWmt2itZMheJtSBPiSHHPB2Q+/KuUjdDcJBizmE xgeY8S0Lyxtchsw/yDNY =0kqx -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --Dx1O6sYEs5STvSrm-- --===============2612390772116725551== Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Disposition: inline _______________________________________________ linux-arm-kernel mailing list linux-arm-kernel@lists.infradead.org http://lists.infradead.org/mailman/listinfo/linux-arm-kernel --===============2612390772116725551==--
