Subject: getting a patch for 2.6.38.4
Date: Mon, 25 Apr 2011 12:55:00 -0700	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <1303761300.22282.0@athlon> (raw)

i've downloaded the kernel from the getting started guide:
git://evilpiepirate.org/~kent/linux-bcache.git (i did a git clone)

how exactly do i make a patch for 2.6.38.4? i'm a git virgin...

i tried the 2.6.35-rc3 patch and fixed one problem but got stuck at
a weird multiply define symbol error. details on request.

thanks and looking forward to using bcache.
