what about using the mailing list archive and looking at the bluez-utils
source code?

Hi,

first of all, you ask on the mailing list, then you also reply to the
mailing list.

Second, my answer gave you all information you need. The topic of
changing the BD_ADDR has been discussed some times on the mailing list
and so you will find additional information and further links in the
mailing list archive. If you start looking at the bluez-utils source
code or CVS you might find a program for this task. If you need a stupid
script kiddy step-by-step instruction then find another place to ask,
because this is about serious development.

Regards

Marcel
