Hi guys,
I was playing a little bit with Mono and C# lately and I think we are
really in need for some good C# Bluetooth bindings. I would expect that
Microsoft already defined some, but I wasn't able to locate any good
documentation about Windows Bluetooth programming with C#. I found some
crap about the CE mobile/embedded stuff, but not for the desktop OS.
However there exists some stuff from www.32feet.net which tries to
provide a framework for Bluetooth, but I am not really sure if it is
usable and if it would make sense to implement the same interface for
Linux. Some example code of how to use it can be found here:
http://www.totalannihilation.dk/wordpress/code/BluetoothConsoleScanner.cs
So does anybody used C# under Windows XP for Bluetooth programming so
far or is the only option still C++?
Regards
Marcel
