 Hello,
 When i try to pair my PC with the nokia headset-hs 11w, ie when i execute the below command 
 btsco 00:08:C6:3E:54:2C 1
 i get the below error. Can somebody point what might have went wrong ?
 Can't connect RFCOMM channel: Resource temporarily unavailable

according to your hciconfig output, this is your local address and not
the address of the headset. Use the headset address.

My headset is in the pairing mode. Now i am getting a
different set of message for the hcitool info. I tried
executing this command many times. But still get the
same message(below one). I no more get the previous
msg which contained BD address and the Device name.

make sure that hcid is running. Check the syslog for output about the
PIN helper if it still fails.

As a root if i type in hcid. It doesn't give any
error. This means hcid is running. I am unable to find
syslog under /var/log directory. I am running Fedora
core 4. Some of the syslog listed by sylog are as
below. Can you pls  help to find which syslog file i
am supposed to check.

according to the dump, it is not running. Did you start hcid as root,
because it needs root rights to deal with the authentication.

Hello Marcel,
I have installed all the bluez-packages and bt_sco
module as a root. All the commands which are trying to
establish a connection to my headset are being
executed as a root. I login with root privilages and
at this point if 

i check the status of hcid it was showing as stopped.
(below output)

[root@localhost /]# /etc/init.d/bluetooth status
hcid is stopped
sdpd (pid 1725) is running...
------------------------------------------------------

So i restarted the bluetooth and for the first time i
got the below msg
------------------------------------------------------
[root@localhost /]# /etc/init.d/bluetooth restart
Stopping Bluetooth services:                          
    [FAILED]
Starting Bluetooth services:                          
    [  OK  ]
------------------------------------------------------

For the second time, i was able to successfully stop
and start BT services
------------------------------------------------------
[root@localhost /]# /etc/init.d/bluetooth restart
Stopping Bluetooth services:                          
    [  OK  ]
Starting Bluetooth services:                          
    [  OK  ]
------------------------------------------------------

cross checking the BT status again
------------------------------------------------------
[root@localhost /]# /etc/init.d/bluetooth status
hcid (pid 2743) is running...
sdpd (pid 2745) is running...

If i execute the below command i get the same info, as
yesterday

“hciconfig -a” and “hcidump -X -V”. Along with it
someother information which i thought might be helpful
in debugging.

When i first started my pc if found that hcid demon
was not running. So i re-started the bluetooth
services and made the hcid to run

run the next one with "hcidump -X -V -t" to get the timestamps, but I am
quite sure that the hcid is not running.

Are you 100% sure that these are running as root. You might better check
with "ps -u root | grep hcid". The non-matching PIDs make it a little
but suspicious.

Check /var/log/messages for any syslog output. However since this looks
like a RedHat or Fedora distribution, it might be a SELinux problem. If
nothing else works, try to switch it off.

Good news is that i am able to successfully transfer
the audio files from my pc onto my headset.
I would like to thank Mr. Marcel for helping me to fix
the problem. 
The solution to the error which i faced
-------------------------------------------
Because of the SELinux security policies, Bluetooth
demon's might not me able to access certain
configuration file. Hence, they might not start.
Completely disable the security in SELinux which is
done by editing/launching the SELinux menu by "running
system-config-securitylevel"
In this menu under the SELinux tab.
uncheck "Enabled (modfn requires reboot)" option
aswell as uncheck "enforcing current: disabled"
Under the Firewall Options
security level option set to Disable firewall.

Reboot the system and you won't get the error
