Hi Marcell,
I had someone with a OS X system, grab me the
"BluetoothFWUpdate1.2.dmg", but this doesn't seem to contain
the "GenericCSR.dfu"?
Is it maybe an older mac fwupdate I should be looking for?
thank's again for your previous help with my "bluez and dbus" issue.

Doug

Marcel,
I responded too quickly with my last message. Shortly there after,
someone else from my LUG mailing
list, was able to extract the "GenericSCR.dfu" from the mac file with
the pacifist app I guess.
Anyway, I now have the required file. Could you possibly give me any
pointer's on flashing this dongle?

use dfutool from bluez-utils, but use it at your own risk. I can render
your device useless.

Marcel,
dfutool worked great, I now have HID proxy support. Well sort of.
What happen's is this. I can reboot, and at post, I don't get the "no
keyboard" error, but I still
can't use the keyboard to enter the bios?
Once I get to my bootloader (grub), I don't have keyboard control there
either. When I get to my
X logon prompt, thing's are fine. Couple of key's pressed, and it work's
like it should.
What am I missing here?
Regard's
Doug Chalmers p.s. hid2hci work's great.

you need to connect (and disconnect) your keyboard at least once and the
keyboard must be paired. The CSR version of HID proxy is not accepting
unpaired keyboards.
