Subject: [Bluez-users] A2DP capable devices and capture (Motorola HT820)
Date: Tue, 22 Jan 2008 10:25:59 +0100 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <1200993959.8563.1.camel@localhost> (raw)
Hello,
I've tried to capture sound from a HT820 with current cvs, and failed.
I was surprised as it worked with a mono headset...
It works fine in hifi mode though.
Are these kind of devices supposed to work in both "hifi" and "voice"
profiles ?
Did someone manage to make this work with current bluez / kernel ?
Thanks in advance,
Best regards,
Guillaume B.
PS:
I also failed to make this work in Windows xp , so no useful log...
Maybe the old computer misses some ram, and for sure Windows is trashcan
ready.
I just know that it's supposed to use Hands-Free Profile (not HSP), and
it tries to use A2DP and HFP at the same time.
And by the way, how can one capture BT traffic for free in this
environment ?
