Hi
I've still a problem with pairing my phone with my bluetooth dongle. My
phone asks me if I want a serial port connection with computer. As soon
as I accept this, the dialog to enter the pin shows but disappears
within about 1 second. Far to few time to enter any pin.
Is there a way to set some other timeout for pairing? Just in case it
helps, I dumped the bluetooth connection below (including timestamps and
some hint where I want the enter the pin). (./hcidump -X -V -t)
Thanks for any hint,
Andreas

This version does work with my Linux Kernel 2.6.17.4 I tested 2.6.16.17, 2.6.17.2, and 2.6.17.4 all of them worked with BlueZ 2.25, none of them worked with 3.1 (I did not test BlueZ 3.0). Hi again I finally had time to test the 3.2 release of bluez. But I got the same result as described above with the 3.1 release. I have to admit that I use a different phone now as my original crashed on me (not during a bluetooth session). But this shows me, that this is not necessarily phone dependent. Any news on the developer front, what should I try to help resolving the problem? Thanks, Andreas ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys. Earn Cash.
