Hello,
I got the new bluez-utils-3.8 and saw the new "audio" folder in it. Compilation led to the binary "bt.headsetd" amongst others. I remember that "headsetd" was part of btsco (now plugz) . A little google made me come up to this http://bluetooth-alsa.sourceforge.net/future.html
Anyways, tried to test the bt.headsetd but got errors as:
kernel@xcaliber:~/development/bt/bluez-utils-3.8/audio$ ./bt.headsetd -n -c 1
bt.headsetd[24787]: Bluetooth Headset daemon
bt.headsetd[24787]: Registering failed: Method "RegisterService" with signature "sss" on interface "org.bluez.Manager" doesn't exist
My question is
1. Has the new bluez-util integrated btsco ??
2. What am i missing to get this error ??
I am stuck up and think am missing something obvious. Plz help me.
Thanks in advance.
cheers,
Nel
