Subject: [PATCH 9/9] HID: playstation: Drop redundant report ID validation in ps_get_report
Date: Mon, 12 Oct 2026 20:42:25 -0700	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20261012-hid-core-report-validation-v1-9-e0dd5cb60b2e@gmail.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20261012-hid-core-report-validation-v1-0-e0dd5cb60b2e@gmail.com>

Now that the core HID request handling validates returned report IDs
for report retrieval requests centrally, the report ID check in the
PlayStation driver is redundant. Drop it.
