I'm told that one possible reason it's not working is if the bluetooth dongle is routing incoming SCO data to PCM rather than HCI. I'm using the internal bluetooth (usb) on a Toshiba Portege m200. How can I tell if it's doing sco properly? jabbed:/home/bmidgley# hciconfig -a hci0: Type: USB BD Address: 00:03:7A:0B:44:B3 ACL MTU: 192:8 SCO MTU: 64:8 UP RUNNING PSCAN ISCAN RX bytes:34506 acl:2267 sco:0 events:270 errors:0 TX bytes:1518 acl:42 sco:0 commands:19 errors:0 Features: 0xff 0xff 0x0f 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 Packet type: DM1 DM3 DM5 DH1 DH3 DH5 HV1 HV2 HV3 Link policy: RSWITCH HOLD SNIFF PARK Link mode: SLAVE ACCEPT Name: 'jabbed.uen.org-0' Class: 0x000100 Service Classes: Unspecified Device Class: Computer, Uncategorized HCI Ver: 1.1 (0x1) HCI Rev: 0x20d LMP Ver: 1.1 (0x1) LMP Subver: 0x20d Manufacturer: Cambridge Silicon Radio (10) I also have unsuccessfully tried a belkin f8t003: hci1: Type: USB BD Address: 00:0A:3A:50:65:42 ACL MTU: 192:8 SCO MTU: 64:8 UP RUNNING PSCAN ISCAN RX bytes:107 acl:0 sco:0 events:14 errors:0 TX bytes:300 acl:0 sco:0 commands:13 errors:0 Features: 0xff 0xff 0x0b 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 Packet type: DM1 DM3 DM5 DH1 DH3 DH5 HV1 HV2 HV3 Link policy: RSWITCH HOLD SNIFF PARK Link mode: SLAVE ACCEPT Name: 'jabbed.uen.org-1' Class: 0x000100 Service Classes: Unspecified Device Class: Computer, Uncategorized HCI Ver: 1.1 (0x1) HCI Rev: 0x20d LMP Ver: 1.1 (0x1) LMP Subver: 0x20d Manufacturer: Cambridge Silicon Radio (10) -- Brad ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by BEA Weblogic Workshop FREE Java Enterprise J2EE developer tools!
