Bluez Maintainers,

I wish there was more documentation for the end-users or application
developers on how to get the supported hardware working.... Nitty
gritties like how to set the link-key for audio headsets, "u will
need to press that button on Jabra to request a connection", "don't
do this.. do that" , I mean the extra 0.01% that will make it work if
Bluez is to get critical acclaim and not go down the tube like
openBT. Inclusion into linux is not cause for comfort. When you are
building a airplane, please write a manual for the pilot as well,
when you can write so many for the ground crew......
Otherwise you are going to crash so many poor test pilots.

M

This is a great idea. When you're talking about volunteers, it'll be
done by people who are excited about it, and a few people have
contributed docs and examples. I'm not sure how easy it is to find them
but it could be easier probably.

The infrastructure sees a huge amount of effort, especially from Marcel.
I believe that the layers that you want to see more effort in are best
filled in by whomever you bought your distro from, or filled in by KDE
and Gnome volunteers who are trying to unify and simplify the whole user
experience.

I'm sure we look forward to your help in finding and smoothing those
rough edges.

Brad
