Hi,

Isn't there an alsa interface that can be used without patching?
ie Do all applications that use alsa when it's in the kernel, patch?

Thanks.

btsco only works through a kernel module, not as a kernel built-in. (You'd have to patch the kernel to do it as a built in)

What is the relative difference in installation for someone using a headset with alsa in modules vs alsa in the kernel? Is it just the patch step in btsco? (ie kernel directory)

Thanks.
