Yes I understand that much. However that was the only way to get any sort of error logged. The problem I am having is getting any info (from log files or otherwise). 
       
    Without any logfiles or hcidump or any other clues, how should we find
    your problem.

hcidump I can manage I am sure, I'll get that sent off as soon as I get back home.

As far as log files go, there seems to be nothing to send you. That's what I could do with help with. The only entry in the log is dund starting, after that there is nothing. The odd thing is that the pocket pc gets as far as saying it has connected to the port, but fails to do anything else. 

What if anything should I try to get some usable output?
