Hi all,

to initialize the HCI/UART channel between a Semtech-Xemics bluetooth kit
and a Host (Xscale) I use the command "hciattach". In this programm, I add a specific
vendor HCI command to change the baud rate of the UART at the bluetooth side.

With a numeric analyser, I look at the hci flow after the command "hciattach"
between the host and the bluetooth kit. Here's what I observe :

1. I see a first HCI command frame ( the vendor HCI command to change the UART baud rate)
from Host to bluetooth circuit. For this specific command, the bluetooth circuit does not respond.

2. I see a second HCI command frame of 4 bytes length (frome Host to bluetooth circuit) :

HCI_COMMAND_PACKET OCF OGF
0x01 0x03 0x10 0x00

3. The bluetooth circuit responds with the following frame :

HCI_EVENT_PKT EVENT_CODE DATA LENGTH RECALL the command
0x04 0x0E 0x0C 0X01 0x03 0x10 0x00 0xFF 0xFF 0xBD 0xF8 0x1B 0x18 0x00 0x00

First, I wonder where does come from the HCI command with an OCF=0x03 and an OGF=0x10. It's not a normalized hci command.
Is it a specific command from the linux kernel or from bluez ??

Where can I found information about this command and its reply ?

thanks for any idea or information which can help me.

regards.

Michel
