* [PATCHv4 01/11] android: Create HAL API header skeleton
From: Andrei Emeltchenko @ 2013-10-16 14:36 UTC (permalink / raw)
  To: linux-bluetooth
In-Reply-To: <1381934198-7955-1-git-send-email-Andrei.Emeltchenko.news@gmail.com>

From: Andrei Emeltchenko <andrei.emeltchenko@intel.com>

Header describes the protocol between Android HAL threads and BlueZ
daemon. The header is added to host build and not to Android since
it is smart enough to include it automatically.

* [PATCHv4 00/11] Android BlueZ patches, second chunk
From: Andrei Emeltchenko @ 2013-10-16 14:36 UTC (permalink / raw)
  To: linux-bluetooth
In-Reply-To: <1381833423-862-1-git-send-email-Andrei.Emeltchenko.news@gmail.com>

From: Andrei Emeltchenko <andrei.emeltchenko@intel.com>

This is second chunk from my initial big patch set. Fixed style issues commented
by Marcel.

Changes:
	* v4: Fixes several typos and missing style issues commented by Marcel earlier.
	* v3: Following upstream comments file names are changed from "_" to "-", added kernel style
struct initialization, fixed bug checking status for mgmt commands, added 2 HALs skeletons.
	* v2: Corrected android_daemon -> enable_android autoconf stuff, better name for acquiring caps,
renamed hal_msg.h to hal-msg.h due to Johan's comment. Added small test-sdp fix.

Note that due to Marcel comment this cannot be built unless you include my patch
for Android bionic library:
http://code.google.com/p/android-bluez/source/detail?r=77a07e7703b63e280d9880baad30b3375e7df079&repo=bionic#

Andrei Emeltchenko (11):
android: Create HAL API header skeleton
android: Add basic mgmt initialization sequence
android: Add adapter and device struct for BlueZ daemon
android: sdp: Reuse BlueZ SDP server in Android
android: Add cap to bind to port < 1024
  android: Implement read_info_complete callback
android: Use kernel style to initialize struct fields
  android: Rename hal_bluetooth.c to hal-bluetooth.c
  android: Rename hal_bt_sock.c to hal-bt-sock.c
  android: Add HID Host skeleton
  android: Add PAN skeleton

I forgot that we had that helper. A v2 has been sent.

* [PATCH v2] Bluetooth: Reintroduce socket restrictions for LE sockets
From: johan.hedberg @ 2013-10-16 14:13 UTC (permalink / raw)
  To: linux-bluetooth

From: Johan Hedberg <johan.hedberg@intel.com>

Right now we do not allow user space to use connection oriented channels
on LE, and the only CID that can be used is the Attribute Protocol one.
These restrictions went away together with the recent refactoring of the
L2CAP code, but this patch puts them back to their appropriate places.

* [PATCHv3 01/11] android: Create HAL API header skeleton
From: Andrei Emeltchenko @ 2013-10-16 14:08 UTC (permalink / raw)
  To: linux-bluetooth
In-Reply-To: <1381932528-31584-1-git-send-email-Andrei.Emeltchenko.news@gmail.com>

From: Andrei Emeltchenko <andrei.emeltchenko@intel.com>

Header describes the protocol between Android HAL threads and BlueZ
daemon. The header is added to host build and not to Android since
it is smart enough to include it automatically.

* [PATCHv3 00/11] Android BlueZ patches, second chunk
From: Andrei Emeltchenko @ 2013-10-16 14:08 UTC (permalink / raw)
  To: linux-bluetooth
In-Reply-To: <1381833423-862-1-git-send-email-Andrei.Emeltchenko.news@gmail.com>

From: Andrei Emeltchenko <andrei.emeltchenko@intel.com>

This is second chunk from my initial big patch set. Fixed style issues commented
by Marcel.

Changes:
	* v3: Following upstream comments file names are changed from "_" to "-", added kernel style
struct initialization, fixed bug checking status for mgmt commands, added 2 HALs skeletons.
	* v2: Corrected android_daemon -> enable_android autoconf stuff, better name for acquiring caps,
renamed hal_msg.h to hal-msg.h due to Johan's comment. Added small test-sdp fix.

Note that due to Marcel comment this cannot be built unless you include my patch
for Android bionic library:
http://code.google.com/p/android-bluez/source/detail?r=77a07e7703b63e280d9880baad30b3375e7df079&repo=bionic#

Andrei Emeltchenko (11):
android: Create HAL API header skeleton
android: Add basic mgmt initialization sequence
android: Add adapter and device struct for BlueZ daemon
android: sdp: Reuse BlueZ SDP server in Android
android: Add cap to bind to port < 1024
  android: Implement read_info_complete callback
android: Use kernel style to initialize struct fields
  android: Rename hal_bluetooth.c to hal-bluetooth.c
  android: Rename hal_bt_sock.c to hal-bt-sock.c
  android: Add HID Host skeleton
  android: Add PAN skeleton

can we use bdaddr_type_is_le() here instead.

This is first code that actually calls HAL functions.
Functions defined in bt_interface_t can be executed.

* [PATCH v3 4/5] android: Add text conversion helpers to haltest
From: Jerzy Kasenberg @ 2013-10-16 14:00 UTC (permalink / raw)
  To: linux-bluetooth; +Cc: Jerzy Kasenberg
In-Reply-To: <1381932012-29641-1-git-send-email-jerzy.kasenberg@tieto.com>

Application uses a lot of text in the form of defines found in header
files to represent arguments and output.
Conversion helpers keep functionality of converting string as
bt_status_t or uuid in one place.

+ * Begin mapping section
+ *
+ * There are some mappings between integer values (enums) and strings
+ * to be presented to user. To make it easier to convert between those two
+ * set of macros is given. It is specially useful when we want to have
+ * strings that match constants from header files like:
+ * BT_STATUS_SUCCESS (0) and corresponding "BT_STATUS_SUCCESS"
+ * Example of usage:
+ *
+ * INTMAP(int, -1, "invalid")
+ * DELEMENT(BT_STATUS_SUCCESS)
+ * DELEMENT(BT_STATUS_FAIL)
+ * MELEMENT(123, "Some strange value")
+ * ENDMAP
+ *
+ * Just by doing this we have mapping table plus two functions:
+ *  int str2int(const char *str);
+ *  const char *int2str(int v);
+ *
+ * second argument to INTMAP specifies value to be returned from
+ * str2int function when there is not mapping for such number
+ * third argument specifies default value to be returned from int2str
+ *
+ * If same mapping is to be used in several source files put
+ * INTMAP in c file and DECINTMAP in h file.
+ *
+ * For mappings that are to be used in single file only
+ * use SINTMAP which will create the same but everything will be marked
+ * as static.
