This probably needs two more pieces of information:
1. What's the workload going on at the time? There's stuff being
written and cleaned up.
2. Issue sysrq+w during the hung task event, and then 'journalctl -k
-o short-monotonic > dmesg+sysrqw.log' and see if that'll go as an
attachment to the list.

hi chris,

yes there must be some kind of i(o going on caused by samba. the system
is used as storage and it happen at around 8 a.m. where several users
logged in and loaded their profiles. this was seen 2 times on 2
different days.

the problem is that i´m usually not there that early, so there is no
chance in the near future to get the requested logs :-( but i see what i
can do.

regards

sash

That's not an error, but just a warning that some operation was taking so
long, that the kernel was concerned it might be hung. You can adjust the
warning time threshold from 120 seconds back and forth as you like via the
sysfs interface.

What you're missing to report is whether or not the system works fine after
this, or the FS operations lock up entirely and server requires a reboot. If
it works fine, then you shouldn't worry about this too much.
