Hi,
I just switched to kernel 4.2. I had to replace one drive of a
btrfs-raid5 which was showing SMART errors. So I removed it (btrfs
device delete) while still on 4.1.6. In between kernel 4.2 was released
and I upgraded.
Now I added a replacement drive to the raid5-filesystem. When trying to
balance the fs it does fail with the BUG at the end of the mail.

I will revert to 4.1.6 and try this operation there.
