So, weird, isn't it? Now, let's try to mount to /home2: # mkdir /home2 # mount /dev/sda4 /home2 # mount | grep home /dev/sda4 on /home2 type btrfs (rw,relatime,space_cache,subvolid=5,subvol=/) # dmesg -c [382190.199363] BTRFS info (device sda4): disk space caching is enabled [382190.199370] BTRFS: has skinny extents What's wrong there? Yes, could be similar to this one: https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/44658 In my case, the entry did exist in /etc/fstab, but was different than at the time of booting the system.
