Unfortunately, I was not able to reproduce the issue anymore with the 
same kernel that was triggering the BUG constantly on boot up. I have 
booted up 6.4.16-rc1 both with and without your additional patches, and 
no occurrence of the issue there as well.  So unfortunately, I cannot 
say this fixed the issue, but at least I can say it's not any worse.  I 
will be running with these patches until they are upstream, and will 
report anything unexpected.
