start learning gcc...?

Hi...

I'm newbie here...:)(also newbie in Linux)
I  know  a  little  about C/C++ programming (in DOS) and now I want to
learn  about GCC, where I can find some (good) tutorials about it (urls
please)?
may be I need some example for compiling (and debugging) with
gcc...because gcc's option too many and it's not simple I think.

And, also, where I can find some good tutorials about using KDevelop ?

There are a lot of tutorals on web(in many languages). Try with google.
Do you want to learn C or C++ ? You write about gcc, there also a C++
Compiler
in Linux available  g++ .(Both of them are for using in shell, I prefer a
bash shell)
The options you need are simple.(and equal in gcc and g++ / see for example
g++ --help , and gcc --help / both are GNU-Compiler, that's why the syntax
is equal)
Option "g++ -o prog prog.cpp " creates a binary named  "prog" not "a.out" .
(Important : if shell don't start your programm
by its name (here "prog") use "./prog" that means for shell : execute the
binary
in the current directory:)
