Hello,

I have been reading this list for quite some time (about one year) to prepare myself for starting up in learning C++.
The topic and subjects around here are usually a bit advanced for me, but sometimes some newbies like me come around and i see that they are treated with respect despite the nonsenses or mistakes they present.
I must congratulate you all for this :)
Now that the time has finally como to start on it i must become a bit more active in here.
I have some basic knowledge of C but never tried C++ or any other object oriented language.

I was looking for a good up-to-date ebook to start from.

Thanks in advance,

	João Carneiro
