C on Linux should be C on anything else. I like KN King's book, "C: A
Modern Approach." You'll also want to know how to use an editor and,
eventually, a debugger and probably make.

Forget about 'linux C', there's not such a thing. Learn standard C (there
are many good books on the topic - I used to like Schildt's, but probably
there are even better ones now), and one you know at least the basics you
can get the usual masterpieces on UNIX programming.

Here's a great C Unix tutorial, with exercises:
http://www.cs.cf.ac.uk/Dave/C/CE.html.

The C programming Language is one of the best books ever!!
by Kernighan and Ritchie, the creators!!!
It is a very cheap and good book. It is not tied to any system. I didn't
started learning C with it but I'm using it for teaching purposes. It is
a 'must have'.
I have it in HTML files. Don't know where I got it, I've lost the link.
If you want it mail me in private.
