Simply a great idea. :-)

Some questions:
* How should it look like? ("<vendorId><productId><serial><...>")
* What should we do if the device does not have any useful number? (A PCI device can simply use the slot-id. USB???)
* How a driver should set the address? (priv->can.addr?)
