In fact, you could go further. In the code you have:

> + if (!isLargeBuf) {
> ...
> + } else {
> ...
> }
> }
That could be merged and some more indentation removed:
} else if (!isLargeBuf) {
...
} else {
...
}
Though I acknowledge you may want to keep it for the logical structure.
