All,

Running into a problem with CIFS mounts in fairly recent kernel and was looking for some input.  kernel from kernel.org (2.6.32.24) and get the following when umounting a CIFS mounted volume.

Our mount command looks like :

mount.cifs <MntTarget> <MntPoint> -o directio,user=<User>,pass=<Pass>,uid=<Uid>,gid=<Gid>,ro
