I suspect that the problems all stem from the on-board Nvidia GeForce MX4, as all lspci entries show its name. I have tried turning off PnP with no change, and am looking for suggestions for other things to try. The lpsci -v and dmesg outputs are attached. Thanks, Frank ------=_NextPart_000_0059_01C3707D.0AE99910 Content-Type: application/octet-stream; name="lspci-v" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="lspci-v" 00:00.0 Host bridge: nVidia Corporation: Unknown device 01e0 (rev a2)=0A= Subsystem: Asustek Computer, Inc.: Unknown device 80c0=0A= Flags: bus master, 66Mhz, fast devsel, latency 0=0A= Memory at f4000000 (32-bit, prefetchable) [size=3D64M]=0A= Capabilities: [40] AGP version 2.0=0A= Capabilities: [60] #08 [2001]=0A= =0A= 00:00.1 RAM memory: nVidia Corporation: Unknown device 01eb (rev a2)=0A= Subsystem: Asustek Computer, Inc.: Unknown device 80c0=0A= Flags: 66Mhz, fast devsel=0A= =0A= 00:00.2 RAM memory: nVidia Corporation: Unknown device 01ee (rev a2)=0A= Subsystem: Asustek Computer, Inc.: Unknown device 80c0=0A= Flags: 66Mhz, fast devsel=0A= =0A= 00:00.3 RAM memory: nVidia Corporation: Unknown device 01ed (rev a2)=0A= Subsystem: Asustek Computer, Inc.: Unknown device 80c0=0A= Flags: 66Mhz, fast devsel=0A= =0A= 00:00.4 RAM memory: nVidia Corporation: Unknown device 01ec (rev a2)=0A= Subsystem: Asustek Computer, Inc.: Unknown device 80c0=0A= Flags: 66Mhz, fast devsel=0A= =0A= 00:00.5 RAM memory: nVidia Corporation: Unknown device 01ef (rev a2)=0A= Subsystem: Asustek Computer, Inc.: Unknown device 80c0=0A= Flags: 66Mhz, fast devsel=0A= =0A= 00:01.0 ISA bridge: nVidia Corporation nForce2 ISA Bridge (rev a4)=0A= Subsystem: Asustek Computer, Inc.
