From mboxrd@z Thu Jan 1 00:00:00 1970 From: Romain Perier Subject: [RFC v3 PATCH 1/5] of: Add standard property for poweroff capability Date: Tue, 14 Oct 2014 06:31:09 +0000 Message-ID: <1413268273-15151-1-git-send-email-romain.perier@gmail.com> Return-path: Sender: devicetree-owner-u79uwXL29TY76Z2rM5mHXA@public.gmane.org To: devicetree-u79uwXL29TY76Z2rM5mHXA@public.gmane.org Cc: broonie-DgEjT+Ai2ygdnm+yROfE0A@public.gmane.org, lgirdwood-Re5JQEeQqe8AvxtiuMwx3w@public.gmane.org, linux-kernel-u79uwXL29TY76Z2rM5mHXA@public.gmane.org, heiko-4mtYJXux2i+zQB+pC5nmwQ@public.gmane.org, grant.likely-QSEj5FYQhm4dnm+yROfE0A@public.gmane.org, robh-DgEjT+Ai2ygdnm+yROfE0A@public.gmane.org, mark.rutland-5wv7dgnIgG8@public.gmane.org List-Id: devicetree@vger.kernel.org Several drivers create their own devicetree property when they register poweroff capabilities. This is for example the case for mfd, regulator or power drivers which define "vendor,system-power-controller" property. This patch adds support for a standard property "poweroff-source" which marks the device as able to shutdown the system.
