I do not quite understand why this patch is still being resent instead
of have been applied some time ago. Are there any issues here? Or are
there any issues with the entire patchset (except some review comments
to be resolved)? If not, then this is a dependency which should go
regardless of other patches. There is no point to keep it pending...
All other changes, e.g. DTS will have to wait for more cycles till
this gets in.
Therefore either please apply this or please comment what is stopping
dependencies from being applied.

The patch adds AC timings information needed to support LPDDR3 and memory
controllers. The structure is used in of_memory and currently in Exynos
5422 DMC. Add parsing data needed for LPDDR3 support.
It is currently used in Exynos5422 Dynamic Memory Controller.

+The Samsung Exynos5422 SoC has DMC (Dynamic Memory Controller) to which the DRAM
+memory chips are connected. The driver is to monitor the controller in runtime

This patch adds driver for Exynos5422 Dynamic Memory Controller.
The driver provides support for dynamic frequency and voltage scaling for
DMC and DRAM. It supports changing timings of DRAM running with different
frequency. There is also an algorithm to calculate timigns based on
memory description provided in DT.
The patch also contains needed MAINTAINERS file update.

Looks good to me. I think there is no dedicated maintainer for
drivers/memory subsystem so I can take it through samsung-soc tree
(just like in case of drivers/memory/samsung/exynos-srom.c). Are

I like the third option... although I would be also happy to see
COMPILE_TEST (probably with IOMEM). You need to check which
dependencies are still necessary for COMPILE_TEST.

It seems that only some of these defines are used. Please clean them up.
You have also a lot of checkpatch --strict suggestions:
CHECK: Macro argument 'reg' may be better as '(reg)' to avoid
precedence issues
which seems to be valid.
While at it please also fix few other --strict errors:
CHECK: Please don't use multiple blank lines
CHECK: Alignment should match open parenthesis
CHECK: Prefer using the BIT macro
CHECK: struct mutex definition without comment

Add the chipid label which allows to use it in phandle from other device.
Use syscon in compatible to get the regmap of the device register set.
The chipid is used in DMC during initialization to compare compatibility.

In order to get the clock by phandle and use it with regmap it needs to be
compatible with syscon. The DMC driver uses two registers from clock
register set and needs the regmap of them.

Add description of Dynamic Memory Controller and PPMU counters.
They are used by exynos5422-dmc driver.
There is a definition of the memory chip, which is then used during
calculation of timings for each OPP.
The algorithm in the driver needs these two sets to bound the timings.
