At least for now. The backing project has an estimated service livespan
of 25 years - bad things may come...

Hopefully not. But I am well aware of: "If you can fix it in software,
It is not a hardware problem..."

Hopefully yes.

We will spend some time and discussing the bindings. Especially with
the background of the STMAC. More on that in next version.
