Add support for the RDI only CAMSS camera driver on Kaanapali. Enabling
RDI path involves adding the support for a set of CSIPHY, CSID and TFE
modules, with each TFE having multiple RDI ports. This hardware
architecture requires 'qdss_debug_xo' clock for CAMNOC to be functional.

Kaanapali camera sub system provides

- 3 x VFE, 5 RDI per VFE
- 2 x VFE Lite, 4 RDI per VFE Lite
- 3 x CSID
- 2 x CSID Lite
- 6 x CSI PHY

This series has been tested using the following commands with a
downstream driver for S5KJN5 sensor.

- media-ctl --reset
- media-ctl -V '"msm_csiphy2":0[fmt:SGBRG10/4096x3072]'
- media-ctl -V '"msm_csid0":0[fmt:SGBRG10/4096x3072]'
- media-ctl -V '"msm_vfe0_rdi0":0[fmt:SGBRG10/4096x3072]'
- media-ctl -l '"msm_csiphy2":1->"msm_csid0":0[1]'
- media-ctl -l '"msm_csid0":1->"msm_vfe0_rdi0":0[1]'
- yavta --capture=20 -I -n 5 -f SGBRG10P -s 4096x3072 -F /dev/video0

Add more detailed resource information for CSID devices along with the
driver for CSID 1080 that is responsible for CSID register
configuration, module reset and IRQ handling for BUF_DONE events. And
aggregate a common definition 'CSI2_RX_CFG0_PHY_SEL_BASE_IDX' into csid
header file.

In this CSID version, RUP and AUP update values are split into two
registers along with a SET register. Accordingly, enhance the CSID
interface to accommodate both the legacy combined reg_update and the
split RUP and AUP updates.

Add Video Front End (VFE) version 1080 as found on the Kaanapali SoC.

The FULL front end modules in Kaanapali camera subsystem are called TFEs
(Thin Front End), however, retaining the name VFE at places to maintain
consistency and avoid unnecessary code changes.

This change limits the VFE output lines to 3 for now as constrained by
the CAMSS driver framework.

Kaanapali architecture requires for the REG_UPDATE and AUP_UPDATE to be
issued after all of the CSID configuration has been done. Additionally,
the number of AUP_UPDATEs should match the number of buffers enqueued to
the write master while it's being enabled.

Although the real time data from TFE goes through the RT_CAMNOC, we are
required to enable both the camnoc_rt_axi and camnoc_nrt_axi clocks for
the PDX_NOC, that follows both the RT and NRT NOCs in this architecture,
to ensure that both of the latter are idle after reset.

What is qcom,kaanapali-camss? Sounds like a compatible and you cannot
add bindings for a compatible. Instead add bindings for hardware, so
explain here hardware.

You could easily use `git log` to see how such commits are written
instead of pasting here your downstream practice.

No, I told many times you are supposed to use same order as last
generation. Stop doing this alphabetical ordering or ordering by value.
The previous generation has here vfe0.

Why previously this was called hf_0 but now hf?

Why not using the same names as before? It really does not matter that
it is thin or image, all of them are the same because only the
difference against top matters.

And of course standard comment:

A nit, subject: drop second/last, redundant "binding". The "dt-bindings"
prefix is already stating that these are bindings.

A few comments here:

Publish the code ! Its actually in your interests to do so.

Good to see, it would be nice if you guys could also start running the
RDI path through libcamera - softisp soon gpuisp and start showing some
realworld results.

Not a requirement to merge this series but, a strong suggestion for your
own verification purposes.

Hi Bryan, if you were talking about the sensor driver, sure, we will
evaluate it. Hope it wouldn't block this series though. Thanks.

Sure, we will start doing that. In fact, we tried and faced some
dependency issues. Will reach out offline. Thanks.

Hi Krzysztof, the interconnect driver exposes only one node 'camnoc_hf'
to the camera driver, with it internally managing the voting on hf_0 and
hf_1 clients. The traffic from the Real Time blocks in camera go through
both HF_0 and HF_1, with the former being the primary. This change
correctly represents that the BW voting is for the whole of the HF
client. Please let me know if you have any further questions and we
would be happy to answer. Thank you.

Right, this is done to maintain the consistency with the clock driver on
Kaanapali along with the terminology used elsewhere in the Kaanapali
camss patches (wherever feasible). However, we don't mind updating this
if you think otherwise, please advise.

Drivers don't matter. Interconnect driver does not matter here. You
describe this hardware, not interconnect driver.

Keep it consistent with previous devices, whichever these are.

Sorry, this makes no sense. This device has nothing to do with clock
driver. Don't ever use clock drivers as arguments for doing something in
completely different place.

Not mentioning that drivers don't matter much for the bindings, so I
really do not get what you try to explain here.

Best regards,
Krzysztof

There has been a mixed usage in the previous devices but this (hf) is
consistent with the recently added ones, like x1e80100 and 2290.

Understood. I meant to say that it is consistent with the naming for the
TFE device that is available on Kaanapali. If our intention is to keep
the names in the bindings same as previous generations despite the
changing HW architectures, we could change these to IFEs, to be
consistent with previous  generations. Please advise. Appreciate your
inputs here.

You name these based on the provider, the clock controller or whatever
controller, and that's the mistake. Names are coming from this device
point of view, from the consumer. This device does not care whether this
is Thin or Image or Whatever GDSC.

Gotcha. Thanks for the explanation, Krzysztof. Agree with you, we are
just trying to differentiate the GDSCs / power domains for TOP and to
each of the front end modules, to control them independently based on
the usage, as we have one common device 'camss' in the DT.

Looking at this device as a whole (as a consumer), it has one TOP GDSC
and one GDSC to each of the TFEs (the front end device itself in this
architecture is called TFE) separately for clock gating. TFE_0_GDSC is
enabled only when TFE0 is used, for instance. That way it seemed fitting
too. But if that's not OK, we have two options. One, we change this to
"ife" to be consistent with previous targets or the second, use even
more superficial name like "xfe_0", "xfe_1"etc. for power domain names
that represent any front end (thin or otherwise, which like you said
doesn't matter here) and can be adopted to all future targets. Please
let us know your thoughts. Thank you very much.
