How we handle this dependency? I thought we need to move one step and step before, and keep clean and avoid warning and error for every submission, but it seems not the way you prefer. If we follow the example you said at [2], we just send dt-binding patch but without considering its warning, and go on reference the submission at this patchset cover letter.
