Hi Jon,
Has the docs tree moved? I haven't fetched it lately and this morning I
get:
$ git fetch corbet
fatal: unable to connect to git3.lwn.net:
git3.lwn.net[0: 45.79.184.34]: errno=Connection refused
All my other trees fetch ok. Relevant .git/config entry is:
[remote "corbet"]
url = git://git3.lwn.net/linux.git
fetch = +refs/heads/*:refs/remotes/corbet/*
pushurl = no_push
thanks,
Tobin.

That's how kernel development is done in the end...:)
I'd be curious to know how you got the git3.lwn.net name in your remote,
though, if by any chance you can remember. That shouldn't have leaked
out anywhere...
Thanks,
jon

It is actually one of the things I like about it. Keeps one honest and humble.

I don't remember how I got that remote set up, it worked at some stage because I fetched your tree when I set it up. git complained yesterday when I tried though. Also I cannot remember the last time I successfully fetched from that remote. If I ever see it again I'll email you.
thanks,
Tobin.

Can't beleve how the sum of all these fails pruduce such a elegance. It must be
a kind of darwinism, the one I really like to follow. Even if I'am not a
kernel developer, here I learn so much. You can't beleve what I say, then take
a look e.g. to the 'in-kernel headers' discussion [1], which lets me thirsts
every day for new messages.

With best regards and thanks for 'failing' ;)
