I'm guessing that your mailer messed up the trailing whitespace in ChangeLog.sym53c8xx. Now, honestly, that file should not really exist at all IMO... but it would also be good to avoid this kind of problem with future patches. I'd suggest emailing this patch to yourself until you get to a point where you can apply it to a clean tree. Thanks, jon
