Subject: [PATCH 22/25] libfuse: create a helper to transform an open regular file into an open loopdev
Date: Mon, 23 Feb 2026 15:31:05 -0800	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <177188740327.3940670.1202395550496194597.stgit@frogsfrogsfrogs> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <177188739839.3940670.15233996351019069073.stgit@frogsfrogsfrogs>

From: Darrick J. Wong <djwong@kernel.org>

Create a helper function to configure a loop device for an open regular
file fd, and then return an open fd to the loop device. This will
enable the use of fuse+iomap file servers with filesystem image files.
