Subject: [Request for Help] specs for new Mach64's after 1999
Date: Sun, 6 Jul 2003 14:55:58 +0200 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <200307052010.24033.alex.kern@gmx.de> (raw)
Hello peoples,
as you known I am trying add a full support for ATI Rage 3D MOBILITY to
Kernel. I am own a laptop with such chip and can test it. The main trouble is
that I have only "mach64 overview" and "register reference" from 1998. It
does not described MOBILITY. It says absolutely nothing about chips newer as
Mach64 VT. As I am a lucky boy, my laptop works very well with my changes on
all base resolutions with LCD and all(really all, 320x200 too) on CRT.
Unfortunately not all are lucky with my changes, but without specs I cannot
help their.
Notice, i have subscribe myself by http://apps.ati.com/developers/devform1.asp
on 22 January 2003. I get nothing from they all this time.
I hope anybody has access to latest Mach64 specs and can help me. I am need
specially info for PLL programming.
Anyway, every hint is welcome.
Alex Kern
