Hello all...

Not a developer, but the users list seems a bit moribund. So...I've got a 
PowerMac G3/266 w/ a Voodoo3 card. But no console. When I start linux from 
BootX, I get a blank screen. X works okay, but the blank console kills me. 

Also, in another request, I run 2.4.26, and after the initial boot, the 
console "crashes", to where after X starts, I can't go back to the console to 
do anything and read the text. It's all glyphs. I'd like some way of solving 
this. Can anyone help? 

I'm willing to test any code you would like to send my way, as I'd like to get 
these things working right...
