For fbcon probably nothing. But I think mach64 can't draw besenham lines 
or use the front end scaler/3D pipe with 24bpp. Those two are enough to 
keep me from using it and maybe there were some additional limitations as 
well.

PS.
The cursor code appears to be working quite well. One small problem: The 
cursor is invisble it's while moving. But that's probably a problem with 
the generic cursor code. And it may have been fixed already (I'm still 
running 2.6.5-mm6 + quite a bit of patches).
