What's going on with fbdev development these days? My latest atyfb
patches received an ACK from Alex but that was it. They haven't
been applied to any tree.
I don't think I've seen any messages from Tony in month or so...

Since the beginning of this project there has been a rotation of
maintainers. Unfortunely this project is not supported ($) by anyone
so it is entirely voluntery. Our jobs often go over the normal hours of
work to complete a project so our free time is taken away. That has been
the case for me for the last several years. I have just left my job doing
middleware to go back to kernel development. So in the next few weeks I
will be coming back to working on the fbdev layer. Right now Geert seems
to be picking up the work. Thank you.

OK. I'm just wondering who to pester to get my pactches included.
Does anyone know what happened to Tony? It looks like he simply
disappeared and I don't remember seeing any "I quit" notice...

I'm looking at the patches now. It will take a few days looking at
everything plus several purposals on the lkml.

I'm a bit worried myself. Is he in good health or has work kept him
occupied? We lost Brad Douglas to poor heath. I haven't heard from him in
a long time. Sometimes I think about him as well.
