Subject: Building kernel driver outside of the kernel tree
Date: Fri, 20 Aug 2004 17:36:55 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <41261A97.4AFBB9C@orpatec.ch> (raw)

In kernel 2.6.x it seems to be possible to build drivers (modules)
outside of the kernel source. This is very useful for testing out new
drivers. Is this anywhere documented? If not can anyone volunteer to
write a small documentation?
