FYI, the latest patch of this is found in mm tree:
  http://ozlabs.org/~akpm/mmots/broken-out/fb-rework-locking-to-fix-lock-ordering-on-takeover.patch

Also I hit the same problem in another code paths (for unbind and
unregister):
