Since there seems to be quite some interest in prioritized
disk IO, and issues related to it (e.g. elevator constraints
resulting from this), I've asked for a BOF slot at OLS.
I'm not sure if the schedule is final yet, but for now, we
have a slot on Saturday, July 24, at 13:30-14:30. The full
abstract can be found here:
http://www.linuxsymposium.org/2004/view_abstract.php?content_key=207
To get things started, I think it would be good to have a
brief overview of what has already been done. So if someone
has worked on something in this direction, or knows such a
project well enough, and would like to say a few words about
it, please let me know.
Thanks,
- Werner
