From mboxrd@z Thu Jan 1 00:00:00 1970 From: Christoph Hellwig Subject: [PATCH] udf: add llseek method Date: Mon, 8 Sep 2008 19:44:17 +0200 Message-ID: <20080908174417.GB19912@lst.de> Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Cc: linux-fsdevel@vger.kernel.org To: jack@suse.cz, viro@zeniv.linux.org.uk Return-path: Received: from verein.lst.de ([213.95.11.210]:50166 "EHLO verein.lst.de" rhost-flags-OK-OK-OK-OK) by vger.kernel.org with ESMTP id S1754407AbYIHRoS (ORCPT ); Mon, 8 Sep 2008 13:44:18 -0400 Content-Disposition: inline Sender: linux-fsdevel-owner@vger.kernel.org List-ID: UDF currently doesn't set a llseek method for regular files, which means it will fall back to default_llseek. This means no one can seek beyond 2 Gigabytes on reiserfs, and that there's not protection vs the i_size updates from writers.
