Hi,
actually i updated the kernel from 2.6.5 to 2.6.8.1 to 2.6.9 _because_
of the bug...
so i didn't try all the versions in between, but i think as the bug was
in all these versions
it is in all versions between too. So all I could do is going up to an
even older kernel than
2.6.5... i think i'll install the original 2.6.0 and test it with this ...

here some more infos about my system:
dual xeon with hyperthreading
2gb ram

baal root # cat /proc/version
LLinux version 2.6.9-mh1 (root@baal.lenherr.name) (gcc version 3.3.2
20031218 (Gentoo Linux 3.3.2-r5, propolice-3.3-7)) #2 SMP Wed Oct 20
20:54:11 CEST 2004
(-mh1 is a bluetooth patch but I made my tests before i applied this patch)
