Subject: [PATCH v8 29/30] ASoC: codecs: Add support for the framer codec
Date: Wed, 11 Oct 2023 08:14:33 +0200 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20231011061437.64213-30-herve.codina@bootlin.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20231011061437.64213-1-herve.codina@bootlin.com>
The framer codec interacts with a framer.
It allows to use some of the framer timeslots as audio channels to
transport audio data over the framer E1/T1/J1 lines.
It also reports line carrier detection events through the ALSA jack
detection feature.

+ Enable support for the framer codec.
+ The framer codec uses the generic framer infrastructure to transport

+ This codec allows to use some of the time slots available on the TDM
