I run 2.4.18 on one of my boxes without AX.25 and it seems pretty stable, but I recall seeing some messages about potential problems with either AX.25 or some of the device drivers. The changes in the 2.4 series seem to still be coming at a fast clip. What would be a recommended kernel version? I will be installing Debian 3.0 aka woody which is rumored to be releasing ~May 1, but have no qualms about compiling my own kernel. Bob, N7XY
