I have been using a 2.2 kernel (nice and stable) for packet on my RH7.2 box. I'm using RH7.2 as it seems to be the newest version that runs OK with the FBB RPM. I want to put my internet connection on that box and would like a newer kernel (iptables). I can see 2 ways that I could go here. Either get a 2.4.19(20) kernel to compile on the Redhat box or get fbb (GUI client) to compile with a newer distro (MDK9.0 would be nice). I haven't been able to get anywhere with either option above. Has anyone been able to do either or have a better idea? -- Shane Deering Sent using Kmail v1.4.3 vk3bvp@qsl.net on Mandrake Linux, the Desktop OS vk3bvp@vk3bvp.#sev.vic.aus.oc MDK9.0 Up 7 hours and 13 minutes http://www.qsl.net/vk3bvp/ RH7.2 Up 3 days, 20 hours and 4 minutes
