All,
I have been researching high-speed data methods for ham radio & came
across a mention of the CMX589A GMSK modem from OH2MQK about a year
ago. Is there anyone on this list familiar with this piece of
hardware? How about F1FRV's modem at
http://f6kbf.free.fr/main4e.html#GMSK_ENG
Yes, this is relavent to Linux... I want to figure out the best way to
push TCP/IP over amateur frequencies as fast as possible without using
spread spectrum, using... of course... Linux as the base/development
platform.
Oh, here's an oddity. Anyone else experiencing problems trying to
compile certain parts of the 2.6.14 kernel into modules... The network
card would not work when I compiled the 3C95x as a module. When I
compiled it as part of the kernel, it works flawlessly.
