Hello,

For many years, radio amateurs have been using a nice MS-DOS program
called 'puff' for designing microwave circuits.
It was not expensive, and came with source code, which with some
effort could also be compiled on Linux; instructions for that have
been on my website for a number of years.

Recently, Leland C. Scott, KC8LDO, contacted the authors of Puff
and they agreed to release the code under the GPLv3 license.
They also gave us a PDF file of the manual.

Thus, we can now distribute a complete Puff package as free software,
and ready to compile on Linux. It is available on my website:
  http://wwwhome.cs.utwente.nl/~ptdeboer/ham/puff/

ALCON,

Very interesting news to hear! However, I am curious, what would be the
level of difficulty and likely probability of seeing this ported to MacOS?

Fink lists a couple of available Pascal compilers for OS X (fpc,
gpc). I know absolutely nothing about Pascal, but it shouldn't hurt
to give it a try.

Hello Pieter-Tjerk,
Thanks for this good initiative.
I have only a little problem, I don't get the pictures in the .pdf manual.
(neither under windows nor under Linux)
Hope you can help.

Best 73,
Hans Boon, pa2hbn.
