Hello everyone,

We have released a version Hexagon MiniVM on Code Aurora Forum which can
be found here:

https://www.codeaurora.org/projects/all-active-projects/hexagon-minivm

This is a reference implementation for the hypervisor layer that
provides the Hexagon Virtual Machine which our kernel port is
paravirtualized for.

Please note that this is a really simplistic version that doesn't have
any advanced features -- it's really meant to allow a single guest to
actually run. I think that some of you might have already
re-implemented these features in your bare-metal work, but maybe this
code will still be helpful.

Regards,
Richard Kuo

Question: Is anybody working on Hexagon support for QEMU?

If not, is there any recommended "play with hexagon" hardware where you
can get a shell prompt on a serial port?

Rob

Hello again Rob!

I hate telling you 'no', but unfortunately nobody is currently working
on QEMU.

The public hardware is still in a similar situation. I've heard some
people managed to get something working on some existing hardware, but
clearly I have nothing to say about that...

I'd love to have more people get their hands on our stuff and be able to
play with it, but that's the state of affairs at this time.

Thanks,
Richard Kuo
